The graphs below are created using an automated process. Each night, scripts retrieve data via the internet and process information to update the graphs. Disruptions to data feed, internet service, and other events beyond the control of DRBC could delay update of the graphs.
The graph above is created by automated pulling and processing of data via the internet. Pepacton, Cannonsville, and Neversink reservoir levels are obtained from the New York City Environmental Protection reservoir level page. Levels for FE Walter, Blue Marsh, Beltzville, Prompton, and Jadwin are retrieved via the US Geological Survey NWIS system. Elevations from Lake Wallenpaupack are retrieved and updated on weekdays only. Volumes for Marsh Creek, Merrill Creek, and Nockamixon are updated only at the end of the month and do not reflect near real-time values. Volumes and percentages are estimates based on available information at the time of the automated data pull. For each reservoir, capacity represents the reservoir volume to the spillway. Under high flow conditions, volumes in excess of 100% capacity are possible.
